    Lisa m.

"Over the last year, I realized that I was struggling to find and activate the same level of drive and motivation towards my work that used to come so easily. It seemed that I had somehow gotten away from the pieces and parts of my career that I loved the most. When I signed up for MovingWorlds Impact Team, my hope was that it would spark a new interest, provide a new way of looking at my work, or open my eyes to a new, more fulfilling path ahead."

Lisa drew on her experience starting and scaling startups to support the African Entrepreneur Collective and ARED in Rwanda as part of her Experteering experience. Read more about her journey here.

    Sean J.

"With a background in technology, most of my experience revolves around programming and enterprise tools in the finance field. I've worked as a big 4 consultant for multiple industries in New York and IT architect at a movie company in Los Angeles. Before Impact Team, I was on a 5-month personal sabbatical traveling the world. I was looking to learn something new for my career. Impact Team was the perfect fit, combining skills-based volunteer work with the hands-on opportunity to try different roles - all while being part a team of like-minded individuals supporting each other."

Sean Experteered in Japan with w00rk developing AI technology to optimize the work environment, before jet-setting to Vietnam where he supported the Center for Sustainable Development Studies to build out a community database.

    Lynn T.

"The Moving World Impact Team was designed to provide in-depth training on recent developments in the field of social impact, along with highly personalized guidance on career development. Combined with customized assistance finding an Experteering project that suits your interests and skills, the decision to join was easy. It was exactly what I was looking for when I made the decision to pivot my career and the experience has been stellar."

Lynn traveled to Cambodia Experteering with WEduShare consulting with them on their business strategy, communications plan, and helped streamlined their operations.

    Anish M.

"To me, Experteering is taking all that I have learned in the fast-paced skyscrapers of New York and applying it where it matters more. This experience has turned my life around. I have never been happier, more focused towards what I want to achieve, and who I want to be. If you're not happy with where you currently are, and you know you're either distracting yourself or justifying your career, it's time to take the leap."

Anish Experteered in Guatemala with Alterna supporting their community of social entrepreneurs to create high impact solutions. Read more about his journey here.

MovingWorlds only provides the contact information to enable a professional and educational exchange rather like a classified listing and is NOT a travel agency or organized exchange program. All arrangements are entirely between the host and the Experteer. All Experteers must obtain, on their own initiative, the relevant visa for the country they are travelling to. All questions regarding travel and visas (working, Experteering, or otherwise) should be put to the relevant embassy in the home country before travelling. MovingWorlds does not endorse listed organizations, and Experteers are not agents of MovingWorlds.
